Sweet Ohm saw the light of day in December 1991 in Paris, France. The music could be described as a meeting of electropop and industrial. From 1992 to 1997 Sweet Ohm recorded several demos most of which have not been released.

The debut CD, Essais was recorded in 1998. Most of the tracks were instrumentals, but there were two tracks with vocals. Essais explores territories from electropop to dark instrumentals with soundtrack influences.

Stories Of Here was recorded between January 1998 and October 2000. The CD has ten songs merging electro pop with 80's styles, from electronic ballads to industrial directions.

Imperfection composed of early songs was released in 2003.

The last album released in June 2006 is called Vision In Blue.

Sweet Ohm is based in Lyon in the south of France.

Sweet Ohm is the meeting of influences such as Depeche Mode, severed heads and Kraftwerk. Sweet Ohm attempts to merge electronic landscapes with melodies in which neither machines nor emotions are absent.

The Gem S2 synthesizer was used a lot in the first songs during the period 91 - 97.

After that my sound was improved by use of new gear such as Microwave II, Jupiter 8, JV 1080.

I use Novation supernova II, korg Z1, Electribe R, Alesis Andromeda.

New toys added in the familly : A beautifful Roland MKS 80, a Roland SH 101 and a AKAI VX 90. Expect to hear them in new songs :)

  Method

Take a sound, a rhythm, a chord and let things go. I believe that chance does a lot of things in these circumstances. A lot of work and imagination is still needed of course ;-)

  Influences

There are many. Main influences come from Electronic groups of the early 80's.

I was strongly impressed by Depeche Mode (Years 81 - 85) , and Of course all vince Clark projects, Kraftwerk, heaven 17, Human League, Blancmange, and Last but not ... Severed Heads.
